https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XTCL-Y54  Margaret BERRY marrying Charles SATCHWELL, July 1841.  He had been married previously.

NSW BDM online index. 1841, Volume 25C, line 553,  at CT (so CofE) https://www.bdm.nsw.gov.au/Documents/early-church-codes.pdf

ADD
Possibly his previous marriage:
Charles SATCHWELL, aged 36, a bachelor, of the Parish of Maitland married Caroline WALKER aged 45, a Widow, of the Parish of Maitland, married 28 November 1831 at the Schoolhouse, Maitland.  Witnesses Anne MCGRATH  of Maitland and William MCGRATH,  Married by Banns, registered with St Peters C of E, Maitland, Rev Charles P N Wilton.   All signed, excepting Caroline.
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XTCG-7ZL
That marriage is twice indexed at NSW BDM, so one is most likely a transmitted record to Sydney NSW Chaplains.  Vol 15, line 1241 and Vol 3B line 5470.  Both those ECRs have recently been purchased as pdf from NSW BDM.

Hi - I am Leslie's granddaughter so can give you the facts which I have.

He was born 2/7/1902 as evidenced on his marriage cert and Record of service
He was  married 8/8/1936 to Louise Elizabeth Taylor - St James Church, Coorparoo.  His occupation was that of a painter, residence Balaclava, Sth Brisbane,  Birthplace - Brisbane.  Fathers name - William Charles Satchwell, Mothers name - Emmeline Martha Morrison.  - Evidence - marriage Cert.
Their first child, Beverley was born in Australia.  My mother was born in NZ - Dec 1938.  Louise was from Hastings, NZ and had gone to Australia on a working holiday where she met Leslie.
Lesley went war in 1943 to Guadacanal as a cook.  He was immobilised 3/10/44. - Record of Service
The Satchwell family lived in Waipukarau from 1942.
Leslie died 15/4/59 - I think from a heart condition?

My heritage says that Emily Rosa Letitia Morrison was his mother (daughter of Emmeline and step daughter of Charles).  She would have been 20.  I don't know the primary source of this info but if its true we may never know who Lesley's father was.

Hope this helps.
