Cyprus Death Coroners report
« on: Friday 23 May 08 07:56 BST (UK) »
My Uncle was killed in Cryprus 1965 - he was in the 1st Bn Glosters, and I received his death cert which states he was killed in a traffic accident. Unfortunately this differs from family stories and I was wondering if there is some way I could get the coroners report.  Any ideas :)

Many thanks
Lin

Have you had a chat with the Regt Association yet??

http://www.glosters.org/homepage.htm

I'm sure that there are a number of chaps that will remember him...

You may get some joy fro the Veterans Agency, if you are the NOK or have the say so of such, and apply for his records...That will cost though!

One more charge and then be dumb,
When the forts of Folly fall,
May the victors when they come
Find my body near the wall.
