Unthank/Hastie
« on: Sunday 25 May 08 18:48 BST (UK) »
I am trying to trace the family of my Aunt Mary Hastie b. 1895 in Berwick on Tweed.  She married James Unthank b. c1892 also of Berwick in 1910 . They had 2 children born in Berwick  James H 1912 and Margaret H  b.1914. The family then moved to the Whitby area . I think Mary died in Hull in 1935. Does any one have any info on what happened to the children or her husband James.
Many thanks Heather

Hi, just read your post about Unthanks. I've recently discovered Unthanks in my tree too through the Bell/Hardy side, in and around Staithes.
