Place name in Merthyr Tydfil

Please can someone help. Have the place name Pullyhwyad? Lower Merthyr on a 1851 census. Any ideas . Cheers Heddwch

I think that should be Pwllyhwyad as in duck pond.
pwll = pool/pond
hwyad = duck

Google that and you'll have a few hits - not many, but it might help.
