Evan Jones - 1841 Lookup

Hi,

Could someone look up Evan Jones in 1841 for me please?

Info i have about him comes from his marriage cert 29/3/1851

29 years old (so born abt 1822)
Widower
Quarryman
Living at Ty yn Capel Aberllyfeni Talyllyn before marriage
Father's name Evan Jones occ Labourer

I know the 1841 doesn't give relationship to head but i'm hoping that if Evan Jnr is living at home then he might be findable.

Hello Clair

On the 1841 census I can find only 1 Evan Jones coming from Talyllyn
He is 20 years of age,
Looks as though he is living at homw ith his mother and siblings
And is a agricultral labourer.
Anne 40
Richard 15
Anne 8 could be 5 though
Cathrina 10
Mary 6
possible they could be living with another 2 Jones
Anne 25
John 20 who is a curate
These two are living in a home named the cottage
But the way the cesus is laid out
It is difficult to see if Evan Jones is at the same address.
Also there could be a 5 year old child named Lydia Davis living with them
There are a great many Evan Jones as you can imagine around this area
Around the same age as yours
But only the one I have here is listed as living at the place you named

Hi Eric,

Do you know, I think that is a strong contender!
On Evan's marriage certificate one of the witnesses is Richard Jones and I see from that census record that this Evan had a brother called Richard!
