Hello,
My G Grandfather was Thomas Taggart/McTaggart married to Ellen Church.
The known children were Elizabeth born 1865 Renfrewshire, Scotland and last name was spelled McTaggart.
Other known children all born in Derry/Londonderry with last name spelled Taggart were: Samuel 1867, John 1869, Margaret 1874 and Susan 1871.  I located Margaret in the 1891 census and she wa living with her Mother Ellen at that time.  She was listed as Post Mistress in this census.  If anyone know of this family I would appreciate any direction they may be able to offer.  Thank you all.

Dear Sherry

I am trying to trace my grandfather's details.  Apparently he was born in 1909 in Limavady, mother Annie Taggart, father not mentioned.  What part of Northern Ireland are your Taggart's from?  See thread called Taggarts on page 1.

Sherry- Samuel Taggart son of Thomas & Ellen (Church), was born 17 Feb.1867 Articlave dist., Co. Derry so that is probably the area you should concentrate your search in.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
