Hi, I am new to this, but looking for Eleanor Mercy manooch. born1825, lynsted, kent. Father John a carpenter, mother possibly Ann. I am looking for her family.She married charles albon carter in Maidstone march 1845, but returned to lynsted to have her first child, charles frederick in the Oct. So I think there must have been family connections still in the area. Does any one have the 1841 & 51 census for lynsted or access to parish records. I know there are lots of different spellings of the manooch name, but this is the one on the marriage cert. Thanks in advance.

Have found two families that are probably linked to Eleanor, surname  spellings are as per the census returns:
1841 ref HO107 474 folio 28 pages 19/20
both entries in Linsted Street
John Mannoock age 56 carpenter
Mary do age 48
Henry do age 12
Elizabeth do age 10
All born in county

John Mannock age 30 painter
Mary do age 30
Mary do 9 months
All born in county

1851 Ref  HO107 1626c folios 544/545 pages 2/4
both in Linsted Street
John Mannoock head mar age 66 builder born Linsted
Mary do wife mar age 55 born Dover Kent
Henry do son un age 22 carpenter born Linsted
Elizabeth do dau un age 20 at home born Linsted

Mary Mannoock wife mar carpenters wife born Linsted
Mary do dau age 10 born Linsted
John do son age 9 born Linsted
Edward do son age 8 born Linsted
Emma do dau age 7 born Linsted
Frederick do son age 6 born Linsted
(John was obviously elsewhere on census night)
