Thanks for info so far ~

I think Monica gave the ref to the thread we are dealing with:

Hi Jac and Diddy

I wonder if either of you could help out on a post www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,309524.0.html regarding the Drummond family.

A Mary Drummond born anytime late 1700s-1805ish (going by census ages etc.) showed parents Robert Drummond and Margaret Wilson on her poor relief records in Lanarkshire. She married a Hugh Marr in Dunfermline in 1822 and moved to Glasgow where Hugh was originally from. She showed a birth place of Mastertown in some of her census entries.

Monica  :)

 - we have a Mary Drummond -  parents given as Robert Drummond and Margaret Wilson on some poor relief docs in Glasgow  and place of birth given as Mastertown circa 1800-1805.

Jim absolutely no Hinksmans on Death CD - have tried some variations as well. Loads of Janet davidsons but no links to Hinksman so without further info no point in posting them.
will have a look in MI's.
