Well thats interesting actually Kyt.

His log book is headed No 15 OTU Harwell 1941 July 9th -July 25th. The Summary is then signed off by the Squadron Leader Tristram ???? as "Summary for RAF Detach Hamstead Norris on Wellington Aaircraft"

but from 4th August to 28th when he completed  it just says Harwell and is signed off by the Squadron Leader and Wing Commander.

It was a temporary move whilst new concrete runways were laid at Harwell, so for official purposes 15 OTU was probably still regarded as based at Harwell. Just thought I'd ask
