Wright??? .. or am I wrong

Hi,

I am trying to find the maiden name of the wife of John Coat(e)sworth.  He was born in 1833 in Nettleham, Lincs and he married a lady named Ellen who was born in Barnsby, Lincs.  Their eldest child was born in 1862 and he was named George Wright Coatesworth, I am hoping his mother maiden name was Wright, but I have been unable to confirm that as yet.  Does anyone have access to the parish records where this marriage was recorded?  I have tried BMD, no luck there.

Any help would be appreciated.

Were they already married on the 1861 census?

FreeBMD shows a possible marriage for a John Coatsworth:
Jun 1860 Gainsborough 7a 1462
There are only 3 people showing on the page on FreeBMD - the missing seems to be an Ellen Prestwood

John Coatsworth married Ellen Prestwood, 16 May 1860. Stow, Lincoln.
It's a submitted entry on IGI, but the only one in the right time/area.

Ellen who was born in Barnsby, Lincs. 

The place is Bransby ... part of Stow parish http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/LIN/Stow/

Looks like her name was Prestman and not Wright, sighhhh, now I still have to find why George had a middle name Wright.

You just need to find a link to the marriage at Welton 25 Nov 1817
George COATSWORTH to Mary WRIGHT

Hmmm ... they seem to have had a son called John at Nettleham 1833

Thats obviously the answer to my question, where did you find that one? I looked on IGI and cannot see such a marriage.

It looks like maybe George Wright Coatesworth had his his grandmother's maiden name as his middle name which would fit in if I have worked it out correctly.
