June,

I am not familiar with the church of St Peter in Newcastle. In fact today was the first time I had had my nose in it's registers.

Today the area of St Peter's is on the very bank of the Tyne, due south of Byker and Walker Road, and west of Walker and St Anthony's. ( I am getting this from a map- I have only lived in the "toon" for about 2 years-before I was at roots in Blyth/Cowpen)

On Census 1851, Elizabeth Robinson, 10, born Plessey, was with her parents William , coal miner, and Esther and siblings in Leadgate in County Durham (page ref 2389-408-34)
