I am searching for Thomas Charles and Catherine Stanton thought to be living in Whitechapel Road, Bethnal Green. I do not have any birth dates, but I do know that Thomas was alive in 1947 and possibily died in 1950

The only marriage for a Thomas Charles Stanton to a Catherine I can see on FreeBMD is after the 1901 census unfortunately, therefore they wouldn't be together:

Sorry to say there are too many possible Thomas Charles STANTONs. You'd need the marriage cert to see who his father was

  He is not the Thomas Charles Stanton b Shoreditch 1881 dec as I can vouch for him in my tree. His family move to Canada bewteen 1887 & 1890.

  Willy I would get the cert as the cousins in the area all name children the same at the same time .  Wonder if we can match Stantons?

   Morning Tati

   I have been through all of my Stanton's looking for this couple and they do not show. However a few lines are missing from the early 1800's. Some of these sons have not yet been checked but look to be in all the right places. Our Stanton's appear in Bethnal Green / Shoreditch / Poplar and later (1900) Tottenham.

 The Thomas Charles Stanton  (Whitechapel 1880) show's on the census but no parents names visible.

  I have a long line of Stanton back to 1725 all in London.
