There's a Harry Lough in the 1921 Elizabeth, NJ city directory.  http://www.distantcousin.com/directories/nj/elizabeth/1921/Pages.asp?Page=309

There is a passport application for George Lough born Glasgow on 10 Aug. 1874 and living at 251 5th Ave. in Paterson.  If you haven't seen that yet, it has a picture of him.

1930 Census, Paterson, New Jersey, 145 Maple or Nagle Street

Lough, Hary, rents home for $25, does not own radio set, does not live on a farm, male, white, age 42, widowed, age at first marriage - 35, able to read & write, born Scotland, parents born Scotland, immigrated 1906, naturalized, occupation - clerk, not a veteran

daughter Lavine, female, white, age 17, single, born New Jersey, parents born Scotland, not attending school, no occupation

son Hary Jr., male, white, age 22, single, born Scotland, parents born Scotland, immigrated 1906, naturalized, occupation - clerk for building contractor, not a veteran

son George, male, white, age 21, single, born Scotland, parents born Scotland, immigrated 1906, naturalized, occupation - clerk for building contractor, not a veteran

son William, male, white, age 19, single, born New Jersey, parents born Scotland, occupation - clerk for building contractor, not a veteran

son Thomas, male, white, age 9, attending school, single, born New Jersey, parents born Scotland, no occupation

son (?) Christine, male, white, age 14, attending school, single, born New Jersey, parents born Scotland, no occupation

If that's the right family, they seem to be in Elizabeth, New Jersey in 1920.  I can get that info if you need it.

Researching mothers side of the family. My great Grandmothers maiden name was Rebecca Lough, born 1913 in Glasgow. Her grandparents on fathers side (William Lough), were George Lough Snr & Rebecca McDade. They where from County Cavan, Ireland.

Please reply if you have any more information on this family.

Hi I have information on the Lough family. George and Harry were my uncles .

I should have said I have hit a brick wall re Christina Lough. I know she went to the USA and got her on census and visiting Pollokshaws . I know she married in Pollokshaws but think she may have separated and then emigrated. No evidence  of marriage and no trace of her death. I would like to complete her story.
