Is there SKS out there who could look for any signs of a MORTON family in
Cheddleton in 1841?
Anne MORTON aged 66 born Colwich/Great Haywood.
In the 1851 & 1861 Census she is listed in the Basford area of Cheddleton, as a widow living with one of her children, so she may well have been in much the same area in 1841.
I'm hoping her husband might still be alive so that I can make some progress in tracking this line.
