Hi deesie
Legacurry is part of the Drumhome Parish, Tirhugh Baroney in Donegal. If you have a look at this map, you'll find the parish.

Hello Deesie,
Do you mind me asking what your ancestors name was? I grew up in Drumholm parish and am related to Thompson, McKinley, McGhee and McVitty from around that area.
Regards,
Carol

Hi Carol
I'm researching Daniel Lyden who was born in Legacurry circa 1876. I'm trying to figure out where that is.

Hi Deesie,
Lyden is not a name I recognise from that area.
Legacurry is about a mile from Laghy Village in south Donegal. Laghy is easy to find on a fairly detailed map. Its between Ballyshannon and Donegal Town.
If you need any more information I have a friend there who may be able to help. According to the IGI Daniel was born on 11/7/1877 father William mother Hannah Payne but I expect you know that already!
Regards,
Carol
