Frederick James Pigdon Turnbull.
« on: Monday 14 July 08 22:39 BST (UK) »
The above named person was born in Northumberland (Newburn) and was last heard of in the Blackpool area.  He was the youngest child of John William Turnbull and Elizabeth Hannah Pigdon.  Would like to hear of any information as none of his nieces and nephews know anything.

Thanks.

He was born Dec (qtr) 1906

Emma...neither his marriage nor death appear to have been indexed by FreeBMD. On www.lancashirebmd.org.uk there is a marriage in West Derby, Liverpool of a Frederick Turnbull to an Edith Hooton in 1930.

You will have to look at later scans, either on Ancestry if you have access, or on microfilm/fiche at your local FH centre, to look for further possibilities.

Sorry, yes he was born in 1906 and the records show that is when his mother died ( obviously in childbirth.)
His sister brought him and his siblings up but her son , my father and aunt know nothing of his whereabouts in latter years,
I have been slogging through the marriage records all afternoon and have found a marriage in dec 1934 in Bournemouth.  I quickly sent a txt to my aunt and she said that he did live in Bournemouth and my uncle stayed with them while he worked in a hotel there.
I am now waiting for my aunt to ring to see if she can remember anything else. (at 80+ she needs some prompting now and again).
Will let you know if I find anymore.

thanks

Frederick would be my Great Uncle.  My Grandmother was his sister, Eliza (Lily) Fielding nee Turnbull.  I have no details on Frederick other than dob  and date/place of marriage.
