My irish grandparents both died during the late 1920s when mum was still quite young. I had never seen a photograph of this grandfather until recently and it's the only one anyone in the family knows of so it's very special to me.

I know very little about this grandfather. Not even when and where he was born, only his name and the name of his brother.

I know the clever restorers on this site have performed wonders with my photos in the past, so could you see what you can do with this one please!

It wasn't until I saw the photo on the post that I realised it was a low resolution scan - and then I remembered that it was emailed to me by a cousin. I will borrow the original from him when I can and scan it myself.
