Another Comparison......

Hi folks.

I'm asking for help again with another of the photographs from the old carte de visite album. There are certainly similarities in the two faces I've cropped and compared, but I am not sure that they are the same person. I'd love some other opinions please.

I've also posted the whole photograph of the unidentified gentleman.

Dee  it certainly appears to be the same person at different ages - hairline, mouth and chin...

Had a slight smile at the shoes.....that's what mine look like when I arrive in the city....only have to walk to the garage from the house on our farm and one's shoes are dusty and sometimes scuffed...summer and winter

He certainly didn't attempt to clean them up for his photograph, did he Cando?

The one on the left is definitely Julius Joseph Deimel, Cando...... 

I've just narrowed a baby down to a two year period, thanks to the Art gallery of SA webiste that you posted previously.     

Putting a name to it, may be a more difficult task.

And this one to 1864 -1865 thanks to that website too. This one was taken by Townsend Duryea.   

How I'd love to know who they are.

I don't like to ask for all these photos to be cleaned up or coloured.....I have so many of them. But I am very very grateful to all those folks that do either clean up or colour them for me.
