Mystery Photo - dating please

I have recently found this photo. My mother believes that her mother is one of the children and that it was taken at a May Day celebration at Oaklands, Almondsbury, Glos.

My grandmother was born in 1898, but I am not able to positively identify her on the photo.

The photo is on quite thick card, with no markings on the back, other than someone has written grans married name & address on the back in ink so possibly she let someone borrow it at some time.

I would appreciate any ideas about date, or any restorations if possible

Now that I have had some lovely restores on this photo, I wonder if anyone has any ideas on date.

As stated in my original message, it is believed that this was a May Day picture, but I am wondering also if it could have been taken at the workhouse where my grandmother lived from 1901 to approximately 1905?

Any ideas appreciated.

I'm not an expert on hats but the lady's looks post 1911.

Thanks for your reply. That would fit in with the May day theory. My gran would have been around 14 at that time & one of the ones that could possibly have been her is 2nd from right on back row so the age could fit.
