Looking for information on an Inquest held in 1897 ..
« on: Monday 28 July 08 14:28 BST (UK) »
I am hoping to find some information on an inquest which was held into the death of one Isaac Marshall, aged 73, in Bodmin on 23 November 1897.  Cause of death was found to be natural causes but there must have been some unusual circumstances surrounding his death for there to have been an inquest.

According to the CRO website, they do not hold any information for coroner's court hearings held more than 75 years ago.  I am hoping there might have been a press report of the inquest but have no idea what the local newspaper would have been, or, indeed, what archive information might be available.

II would appreciate any help or pointers to you can give me.

Thanks

Wendy
