You could write to Waterford City Library at Lady Lane, Waterford City, and ask them to send you photocopies of those streets.

Thank you for your reply will visted the library and try to gat more imformation on johns lane  as my grandmother came from there  I remember the house well it was on the left hand side as we had the new park on the right side  there also a coal yard there the house had a shop front around it as i can recall  if you come across any information re /this  I would be grateful.

Also you could have a look in the newspaper index in the library it covers the 19th and 2Oth century, there should be mentions of your family in it.
