Cornelius McAuliffe & Jane Bailey Cork City

I am looking to find the marriage record of Cornelius McAuliffe & Jane Bailey which would have occurred around 1860 possibly in Cork City. Cornelius & Jane were living in Christ Church Lane by 1866. The marriage could also have taken place somewhere else in Cork.

Civil registration of Catholic marriages in Ireland began 1864 (from 1845 for other marriages). Before these dates you need to search for church records (if they exist).

I know that well  as It has caused a major road block to my research, terrible that the the dates don't go back further for Civil Registration.

But as they were Roman Catholic they wont be in the Civil Registration and also they moved around a lot so they could have married anywhere in Cork County or City! Needle in a hay stack I am hoping by chance someone might have their marriage record.

Looks like this marriage was COI I had taught that they were RC.

Perhaps Cornelius was RC and Jane Bailey COI.
