*COMPLETED*Wildmore Fen Marriage for Sarah WELLS c.1825
« on: Friday 08 August 08 00:21 BST (UK) »
Would it be possible for someone to please have a look to see if there is a marraige for a Sarah WELLS and a John GODFREY possibly around 1820-1825. I have them on the 1841 census (ages given as 45 & 40 resp.) with a couple of children from the marriage of a Harriet WELLS and Thomas GRASSBY who married there in 1827 (info recently provided by you, many thanks).

The children are still with the GODFREY family on the 1851 census, described as nephews and I wondered if Harriet and Sarah were siblings? I have searched Family History Online and the Family Search IGI site without any luck. Thank you for looking at this.

Many thanks for both bits of info. I was really stuck as the family moved around a lot in the Lincolnshire area and I was having trouble pinpointing them - I suppose as labourers they had to travel to where work was available. Perhaps I should find out what period settlement and removal orders covered and have a look at them.
