Does anyone have any info on this lady?
She was born about 1926, don't know where but she lived in Grantham.

Was Edwards her maiden name or her married name (assuming she married)

Have you checked for her birth on either freebmd or the full GRO index to establish her birth place?

If you know who she married and when - a copy of the marriage cert will give her fathers name

I've tried free bmd,no joy.
Trouble with this lady's history is I am not likely to retrieve any info about her
from family members due to the family not being easy to locate ie spread around with no regular contact.

Hello again.
I have checked on Freebmd for info on Constances birthdate and it says born btwn JU/AU/SE 1929....
Alas the said lady's daughter has told me she was born in 1926.

The birthplace matches (Grantham) and the decade (20's)  on freebmd....
Help...somebody......please.....

FreeBMD claims to be complete for 1926 but not for some of the years around then http://www.freebmd.org.uk/progressB.shtml#1910

From the mothers'maiden names, there appear to have been only a handful of EDWARDS families producing babies around that time in the Grantham district.
