Photocopied photos

Can anything be done to improve the image of a photocpied photo?

I have a couple of images which were sent to me of my G-Grandparents and my G-G-Grandfather - they were photocopies but no-one seems to know where the originals are.

Is it worth me posting them here to see what might be done?

Post them stoney. They won't come out perfectly but some of us have had 'goes' at them in the past.

Have tried to upload my pics but every time I get an error message saying there's another file with the same name - I changed the name several times but still get the same message. 

Is there something wrong with RC uploads, I don't normally have any problems

I've just used Imageshack  OK - it could be something to do with the 30 sec delay or summat . Strange messages seem to  appear all the time these days

Put my pics on Photobucket - see if it works this way! (fingers and everything else crossed!)

RC doesn't seem to want to upload direct from my PC !
