Looking for a marriage
« on: Thursday 14 August 08 08:47 BST (UK) »
Further to establishing where some individuals were on the 1891 is it possible that someone can help find a marriage for them please?

Charles Wareham and Kate ?

Charles was born at Donhead St Mary about 1865
Kate was born at Shaftesbury about 1865
Their first  child as far as known was born about 1890 at Donhead St Mary

There is a Charles Wareham marrying a Clara Case in 1885 at Tisbury, but that is not them (thought Clara might be another name for Kate!)

Thanks to Liz and kanskar on the other thread.  Yes, Liz I just about followed that and with Tisbury being the reg district for the marriage in 1885 it seems likely to be the one, but I wonder who the untranscribed individuals are.

I've just found on the 1881 census a Kate Case (b 1870) living with parents RG11 2081, probably not relevant to anything though.

Sending for the cert for the Charles Wareham marriage in 1885 will tell you who he married - guess it will be a Kate something!

Yes, I think that is what is going to have to be done, I do hope it is Kate something.
