Coaley Parish records look up please

Hi
    Most of my family come from Coaley.i am trying to find a few things out,but none of the parish records i have show what i need.i am hoping that they might be in the records office.

James Ford b1705 married Mary around 1725 to 1728 ,i would like to know when they married and Mary's surname.

Also James Ford b1705 parents was James Ford and Elizabeth Elliots who married in 1701,i would like to know when his dad James Ford (FORDES,Fords) was born ? (i think it was around 1680) also who his parents and siblings.

Also my 4 x great grandads brother Joseph Ford b1793 Coaley was Hanged in 1821,i have a Gloucester Prisoner ref number of Q/Gc5/2 comittal date 30 apt 1821.Would there be more info of this at the records office ?

I also have some family in the poor law index and Gloucester census 1831-32,both have ref numbers,does anybody know if more information can be found out using the reference numbers ?

Any Help would be great

Hi Pete,

According to my book Joseph Ford of Dursley, aged 28, was hanged for horse stealing on 1st September 1821.

           Thanks for the info.yes thats him,he was burried on the 4th sept.i never knew there was a book for this information.Is your book for all Prisoner records ?

I have quite a bit of info. from Coaley so have eyeballed my records and found the following which I transcribed from BT's:-

1704 - 1705

"James son of James Fords Baptized March ye 24"

The next entry in the BT's was on March 25 and the year 1705 so it seems that James Fords was baptized in 1704. 

1713 BT's "Buryals"

"Richard son of James ffords May ye 13th"

1731 Burials

"James Fords Aprill ye 12th"

There was no marriage of a James Ford (however spelt) up to 1731.

             Thanks for the replys and the info.

             Yes i have the same info on my records.cant find the marriage also.James Ford burial 1731 is the father James Ford (fordes).

             I need to find Parish records for 1600 to 1700 for Coaley,there are a few marriages on the Phillimore records,but have no way to put the familys together.not sure who is related to who.

             Do you know if there are any burial records for Coaley etc for the years 1800 to 1813 ?

Trying to find the Burials for James Ford b1732 Coaley and James Ford b1704/05 coaley,cant seem to find there death records.
