Does anyone have any information on LATTA families in Dumbarton? 
Latta, Latto, Latty - Scotland, Ireland, USA, or any other location in the world.

There are large tombstones in Dumbarton Cemetery to various members of the Latta family.
McQuade-Monaghan/Dumbarton, Lynn-Co Tyrone/Stirling/Dumbarton/Glasgow, McSporran-Campbelltown/Glasgow/Renton/Dumbarton,  Smith, Madden-Antrim/Dumbarton, McFarlane-Roseneath, Barr-Buncranna/Derry/Dumbarton

Not sure, but can transcribe them for you over the next few weeks if you wish.  The Latta family married into the McMullen shipbuilding family if I remember correctly.  There is a long connection with Dumbarton.

That would be wonderful.  If you have the time.  I don't have the connection with the McMullens yet.  I am doing some research today on ancestery.com on Dumbarton Lattas, so I might have more to go on then.

You were looking for Latta from Dunbarton. My father was one of that family he was John Latta he had 3 brothers and a sister.
