Marriage of John Morice & Martha Garrett - Kings Lynn, 1822
« on: Saturday 16 August 08 11:44 BST (UK) »
Could anyone suggest how to obtain a copy of the marriage record for John Morice and Martha Garrett, married 8 September 1822 at St Margaret, Kings Lynn, Norfolk.  I found this index entry in the IGI.

This may actually be the marriage of John Mousir, born around 1797 in Wortwell, Norfolk and Martha Garrett, born 1799 in Lynn, Norfolk.  The surname Mousir, which I understand was originally French, was often modified in official records, eg Mouser, Monser, Monsir, Mousie.

Much appreciate any suggestions.

Best regards,

Thank you, much appreciated.  The witnesses are quite interesting, maybe father & sister.
