Toni and Lesanne i just had a look at trees on A------y and George Howard is on them.

It gives his birth as 1808 in Beckingham, Lincolnshire. It also has a lot of the children on there.

This may not help much but posting incase. Not sure what we need to find at the min so im

just taking a back seat ;D ;D Ive had no luck with Georges birth so far :)

wow ta for everything so far good peeps.. that Beckbury in Shropshire looks interesting toni. George and Rachel had 2nd son named Samuel.. sigh....
Yes Lesanne that is the correct Rachel. I have seen their marr entry and had no witnesses  :( :(
I guess its the case of gathering what can be found and then I sift thro.
I have their descendants etc no worries. Just George's birth has escaped my family and I.
Lesanne, know he is mine for sure,Samuel his son is from whom we descend. He married Ann Lloyd ( whose father is also a brick wall !!!) and Ann's dau Rachel is "mine". My dad was born in Worksop and he remembers  his g/mother Rachel.

Sure appreciate you all.

Possible later entry, if baptised when an older child:

IGI-
George Howard, bp. 27th Nov, 1814, Gawcott, Buckingham, England
Parents William: and Jane

tried looking for parents names using George's sons as a clue.
