Sayer in wales

Looking to confirm that Lionel P SAYER(S) born 27th february 1893 ( listed in Freebmd) Cardiff Wales if the same Lionel Percy SAYER seaman listed his birth as August of 1892 on a sea record?
Lionel lead a interesting life.....
married ....
deserted his family.....
 deserted the army in the 1920 in Sctotland.
 Diappeared for awhile believed to be at sea then came back to scotland married again ( no divorce from first wife)
 
In 1940's his second wife is married to someone else

Apprently his first wife went to swansea quite a bit to visit relatives! Trouble is Lionel had no relatives in Swansea So mystery depends  His only connection to Swansea was that he was born there to  a coachman and servant  by 1894 the family was in Yorkshire  Lionels fatehr was from Gloucester and his mother from Durham
Any assistance appreciated
Can any one see if Lionel was in the Swansea area another marriage? Death between 1930-?
