Wolverhampton Staffs John Edwards

I have a John Edwards bc 1796 and Mary Colbourn bc 1800 they married in Wolverhampton 7th April 1817

Have them on 1841 Census living Portabello Willenhall Wolverhampton with Daughter Jan b c 1835 and Son Richard bc 1836. Stated none born in County.

Looking for Parents of John and Mary and Birthplace.

Also 1851 Census entry.

Appreciate any help, meanwhile thank you for taking the time to read this post.

I cant find the family in 1841

The only one I can find is one with son Richard aged 15 and James aged 6

John Edwards 47 coal miner NBC
Mary Edwards 40 NBC
Richard Edwards 15 NBC
James Edwards 6 NBC

Is that the right family? If not post the details of the family you are tracing back and I'll see if I can spot them

If it is I'll have a look in the 1851 for them. I suspect they actually come from Shropshire

Mary Ann     Colbourn Sept qtr 1852          "
Mary Ann     Colbourn Mar  qtr  1855          "

Think these are parents of Mary Colbourn married to John Edwards.

Theres a marriage 25.5.1795 at St Marys Bushbury for Richard Colbourne and Mary Devey on FreeREG

There is also a baptism 21.6.1795 St Leonards Bilston for Mary Colbourn parents Richard and Mary
