1851 lookup please - Watts - COMPLETED

Can someone please provide me with the 1851 Census details for Maria Watts, born c1833, probably Ireland.  Her parents were John and Maria Watts (nee Shaw).  Many thanks!

Many thanks to Carole, Suz and Barbara (again!) for this, which has revealed a lot of new information for me.  Would one of you be able to check if this family was in the 1841 Census, when the wife of John Watts may have been alive?

Hi,

Sorry can't see John Watts and family in 1841, so possibly in Ireland

I did find a Mary and Maria Watts in what looks like a private school with 9 pupils & 1 servant but impossible to tell if connected:

 1841 HO107/665/2 Folio 44  Page  2
2 Skinners Place, St Mary Islington, Finsbury, Middlesex
In house hold of Charlotte Wells, 40, Independent
Mary Watts  13 Pupil    not b. in county
Maria Watts  9     "                "

Not knowing the son's full name makes it difficult to look for him, but guessing at John after his father, couldn't spot a suitable candidate

You could try a posting on the Ireland board, you do have the children's ages and places of birth, which helps.

That's a good idea, but perhaps I should try to find the name of the son first, whose initials are J.A.  My bet is that the 'J' stands for John, after his father.

Can I be a pain, Barbara, and ask you to check for this family in the 1861 and 1871 Censuses? Many thanks for your help and advice.
