Am I correct in assuming that as she went to a convent, she was a Roman Catholic?   If so then she would not appear in C of E Parish Records.   There may be RC records available.

On the CWGC site there are 35 Thomas or T Jennings listed as casualties.   None of these appear to be linked.   Those with age at time of death are not of the correct age.   With those of unknown age there are no family details.

one of mrs eacotts descendants sent me a birth record of a mrs hannah eacott living in wilts.

i don't know if hannah is the correct name for the eacott i am after.

as far as i know she wasn't roman catholic. all our family are C of E.

ah there is a hannah eacott living in weston/welford in berks in 1901.

That being so perhaps she will pitch up in the parish records.

That's the one I was given details of. Born in Warminster. I think it's a bit of a long shot to be honest. I don't know  ::)
