Jan,

That's a very kind offer - may I take you up on it, please?

Reference Par 84/1/1/6 Findon Banns & Marriages 1774-1824 (2 fiche)

I hope the above fiche contains the following marriage that I found in the IGI.

21 JUL 1804, Findon, Sussex
RICHARD BERRY  (Male)
ABIGAIL FORD  (Female)

Being an index only, there's no futher useful information in the IGI record.  I'd be really grateful for any more information that the actual register might provide.

Many thanks,
Stovepipe

Hi

Happy to help. Apart from a little East Grinstead wander over the border from Surrey I don't have any Sussex relatives and it would be a shame to live so close to a RO and never visit :D

Requests entered in my little green book. This should make it easier to keep track.

Jan,

Could you please add a couple of electoral roll look ups to your little green book?

I will PM you with the info as some of the rellies may still be alive.

I would be very grateful,

Many thanks

Hi Carol

Sorry but I would rather stick with simple parish register look-ups to keep it straight forward. Actually looking at their website not sure they even hold the electoral rolls - yes they do :D

I have amended the title to make it clearer for everyone.

Hi Jan, is there a space in your little green book for this lookup please?

BOLNEY Burials - Thomas Picknell (various spellings) born c1770 died 1831.

There is a removal order for his missus dated 1831 so I'm guessing he died in or not much before that year.

Many thanks
Suey
