Where is James Ball in 1861

James Ball (b Hatton, warwickshire in 1821) appears on 1851 census married to Mary A - they are living in Watery Lane, B'ham.

By 1871 they are living in Hope St, B'ham and have 2 children: Mary A.E. and Arthur J.

I have followed James through to 1891, but have been completely unable to find him or his wife on the 1861 census. Their daughter is a visitor at her grandparents.

Does anyone out there have any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think I've looked at that entry, but excluded it as the daughter is staying with her grandparents at a different address.
