Plumb Family Hamstead Marshall
« on: Wednesday 10 September 08 18:52 BST (UK) »
Hi there

I have never used this forum before so please bare with me.

I am looking for further info on my Plumb family from Hamstead Marshall.

With the help of Penny Stokes i have been lucky enough to get back to Robert Plumb b. 1740 who married Catherine b1751 (don't know her last name). However i don't know any further back.

I do know about Ann Plumb the infamous lady who had several illegitimate children, but no fathers names, however i don't think they would have been recorded.

If anybody would be happy to look up the records of th local church, which i think is St Marys to try and track who Richards parents are i would be very greatfull for any help.

Also could somebody answer a question for me, is Plumb Farm anything to do with the Plumb family??

thanks for taking the time to read this

regards

Nicki

I made that connection when I saw the title of your post - mainly because I have a dog sat alongside me who we got from Plumb Farm. Sadly I cannot answer your question - if anyone can I would have thought it was Penny.
