Sorry for the delay but one of the joys of living in France is the interuption of the internet. We understand that the Rev Felix[my wifes grans brother] was deported to Germany during the war and was appointed Vicar of St Stephens Church, Guernsey in 1946, was very seriously ill in 1947 and died in September 1948.A Statue of The Madonna and Child was subscibed in his memory by the congregation
Unfortunatly anyone who knew him or of him in our family have died but we have some photos of the statue and a brief history of the church, so if you would like to supply your E Mail address we can then talk direct and proved photos etc as we do not have any information regarding his wife
Best regards
Terene
