How do i find records in India

Hiya

I am just about to start investigating my grans family. I Know my gran and siblings were born in India and her parents were Irish The family left India in the twenties and moved to Glasgow helped by the masons their father never came with them he was to follow but never made it and died in Goa so i have been told i dont know if that is where they lived.

Any advice would be great

Thanks for that. It will hopefully help me in finding more about the family i was finding the thought of it quite daunting as i am still quite new to this hobby
