Hello and welcome to Rootschat,

having a quick search there are several - lots really- of Harrys born around then.
In 1911 - he was in Warmington Lodge and in 1951 in Sheffield- is that right?

Do you have his marriage? Perhaps getting that certificate would tell you his  father's name and address on marriage.

I'll keep thinking  ::)

Do you have access to census info?

That family are here in 1891

1891 RG12; Piece: 1238; Folio 6; Page 5

but King is still alive. Harry is 7 yrs.

1901 RG13; Piece: 1476; Folio: 8; Page: 7

King is still alive . There were several children in this family.

There is a possible death for a King Johnson 74 yrs - the age fits in Epsom Surrey 1915 on Free BMD

If you need all the information- just ask and I can post it.

Hello , thanks for replying, Hmmmm where to start this is all good, Just to confirm Harry was born in the Peterborough Area in what we thought 1887? but you have kindly highlighted it is 1884, the family moved to Sheffield in about 1920-21, He died in 1951 and is buried in Loxley a suburb of Sheffield.

Having just spoken to my Dad, the section about Harry been born in 1884 must be right and my dad says my late Grandad ( Albert Johnson ) always said we have family somewhere in the Sandy, Huntingdon areas so this fits  ;D

Speaking to my dad this would have fitted as King worked at Warmington Lodge looking after the horses, however according to my dad he died young, what age we dont know ?

I'd say the best thing to do would be to get Harry's marriage certificate. That would maybe have an address and certainly the father's name confirming the King reference. Witnesses may again be helpful.
It's dfficult because we know that there is a King Johnston etc but whether this is the same.
Have you seen the census information?
Looking again at census- this is the only King Johnson who would be old enough to have a child in 1891 apart from one in London called John King Johnson.
I have checked, thinking that King's father, may have been the one who died young but no - he was King too and was 64 yrs in 1861.
In 1901 two of King's sons were working with horses.
