Baptism Look-up: Jane YALDWYN/YALDWIN/YALDEN

Dear Rootschatters:

I am searching for the baptism of one Jane Yaldwyn (also spelt, Yaldwin and Yalden), daughter of a Thomas or William Yaldwyn.  It would have taken place in Ludgershall (probably) or Chute (possibly) in about 1739.  I should be very grateful if anyone could check either parish register for her. 

Oddly, I know from a surviving will who her grandparents were (Rev Richard and Jane Yaldwyn of Ludgershall) but I do not know which of their sons was her father - or her mothers name.

Hi, I was unable to find the baptism at neither Ludgershall or Chute between 1734 and 1745.   The only Chute baptism was 1 Nov 1811 Arthur Yalden base born son of Elizabeth.

Thank you for looking, Dave.  I wonder where to search next?   :-\  I really expected her to be there ... unless she was baptised near her grandparents place of origin in West Sussex ... hummmm

Hi I stumbled accross this thread when doing a gooogle The afforementioned Arthur was (is) my grandfathers grandfather, 4 x grandfather??? anyway it has only been recently that I found his birth and was shocked as I had for many years thought a) he was born in sheet Hampshire as per the 1881 census (no wonder I was having trouble finding him) b) his fathers name was william Yalden as per Arthurs Marriage certificate .Iwas wondering if this could of been his grandfathers name as Arthur's mother was Unmaried.

I wondered if you had any more info that could help me find Elizabeth I know theres loads of Yaldens/Yeldons/youldens etc in Hampshire
