I have a family in the 1871 census which I think may be in Barnard Castle in 1861.

They would look domething like this:

James CLARK, 31, Ag Labourer or Joiner, born Durham Stranton
Wife CLARK
William CLARK, 7, Northallerton
Jane CLARK, 2, Barnard Castle
M Allen Clark, newborn, Barnard Castle

If anyone can find them there I would be very grateful.
