Reid's of Insch

I am looking for any information on James Reid, b. June 25, 1782 born and lived in Insch (or Aberdeen).  He married Olive Scribner and moved to Canada (New Brunswick) in 1809.

James was born to Alexander Reid and Lilias Watt.  Their marriage was
on August 23, 1781.

If you have any information that you can share, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I am descended from Rieds as well but have no real information to go on, we are probably not connected but here goes.
My Grandmother was Annie Reid 1887-1917 and was married to John Hall in Auchterless, Annie was one of three sisters that we know nothing of as John Hall remarried. Annie's father, grandfather and great grandfather was Alexander.
Any pointers would be appreciated.
