Hello all,
This is my first post to this list - so hello from Oz

.
My head is hurting trying to track down this lot, so any advice would be much appreciated, fresh eyes/brain would help me too..., I have put it aside and come back to it a few times.
This is about my gr.gr. great grandfather, William Henry Spinks WILLIAMSON
I have found:
William Spicks WILLIAMSON b. Apr quarter 1861 at Freebridge Lynn district, Middleton, Norfolk. Per Free BMD
On the Norfolk Transcription Archives, the only parent listed is Jane.
http://www.genealogy.doun.org/transcriptions/surnames.php?doc_type=150&surname=WILLIAMSONDec quarter 1868 at Downham, Norfolk a Henry Spinks marries a Jane Williams per FreeBMD
1871 Census stated as SPINK, though on the original I have convinced myself I can make out SPINKS, shows residing Norwich, Denver, Norfolk, England:-
Henry SPINK, head, b. abt 1811 Hilgay, Norfolk
Jane SPINK, wife, b. abt 1836 Tottenhill, Norfolk
William SPINK, son, b. abt 1861 Middleton, Norfolk
Rachel Spink, daughter b.abt 1869, Denver, Norfolk
Robert SPINK, son, b. abt 1870, Denver
Robert SPINK, Father, B. abt 1792, West Dereham, Norfolk
I am fairly confidant this is my family, as I have the siblings to William, given to me by my mother, that supports siblings Robert and Rachael SPINKS - siblings to William WILLIAMSON - although no dates. There is another tree on Ancestry, which supports this as well, although does not include my grandfather. (Illigimate birth, he is now deceased)
My question, possibly one of many (if you would be so tolerant

Are they one and the same person? Jane Williams/Jane Williamson do you think???
After looking for a death for a Jane Williams/on. near or within the time of the birth of William, even up to the marriage to Jane Williams gives me no offers within that time frame.
I cannot find any trace of a Jane Williams/on b. Tottinhill abt. 1836 on any census prior to 1871.
I have the family on the census' 1841 and 1851, Robert Spinks (father), with wife Ann b. 1800 Prickwillow - no idea of her maiden name.)
Everyone seems to fall off the planet on the 1861 census (apart from one son).
I hope I have given enough information to you all, my apologies if I have not, I will be back after our night, hopefully to answer any
gaps I've missed.
