Ruddy's/Roddy's and Reddy's of Donegal

   Looking for information about these family names in the parish of Muff . Also looking for the same names in Carrowmore Carndonagh before 1901. There was also Ruddy's etc in Kellystown Carndonagh but at the moment these are not the ones I am seeking

Have you tried looking in IGI, Griffith's Valuation and Will Extracts from PRONI (Londonderry covers Co. Donegal)- all available online. Might be better if you include some names and dates that you do have already.

   Thank you for your reply. I have tried IGI the G.V. Tithe Applotment 1901 and 1911 censes and while I get little bits from each they do not give me what I am trying to find and some of it only makes things more puzzling though it is slowly coming together for the Ruddys of Kellystown the Ruddys of Carrowmore are a little more elusive. As for the Ruddy's of Muff it is proving to be realy difficult as I can find little about them prior to my grandfathers marriage in 1893. I have however not checked the wills so perhaps I should look at that. Where can I get this information on line.
