Robert Stewart

Could someone advise if it is possible to obtain MI's for Deanstone Kilmadock for 1898.
My g/g/grandfather Robert Stewart died 10 Jul 1898, hi date of birth c1831 at either St Cuthberts Edinburgh or Bannockburn Stirlingshire, parents on death cert Robert Stewart and Ann Denovan.
Have all census records 1851 to 1891, bnut have been unable to get any information on his parents !!!
Thought if there was an MI may get some info from that.
This is my brick wall, I know I have posted on this subject before..it is really bugging me, any suggestions anyone please.. Patvp

29 Dec 1829 Duncan Stewart
17 April 1833 Jessy Graham H Stewart

 in St Cuthberts, Edinburgh. parents - Robert Stewart and Ann Denovan

Thanks Gadget - yes have that info, still cannot find a birth for Robert from that couple !!! that's why I thought an MI may tell me something different..this man is driving me nuts LOL, just spent the afternoon sorting out Ann Denovan and her parents ...but nothing on Robert..just about ready to give up again..LOL..not really..will keep plodding on.
