I am researching the 1st Notts Battalion Church Scouts or the Southwell Diocesan Regiment of Scouts (names for the same organisation) as founded by Don Jardine (also known as John Jardine) son of Ernest Jardine, the lace manufacturer from Nottingham. Would be pleased to get some information.

I am also researching the Incorporated Church Scout Patrols, ICSP. A Church Scout Patrol was the Scouting section of the Church Lads Brigade. They wore a badge with a lion and a cross and the motto was 'Watch and Pray'. I have had some interesting contacts from people in Wales and London but there must be others out there who have info/memorabilia about the Church Scouts. Would also like to hear from anyone who knew anything about the London Diocesan Boy Scout Corps or London Diocesan Boy Scout Association. Still looking for info on the 1st Notts Battalion Boy Scouts. Would be pleased to hear from you.

I have finished my book. This book tells the story of three Scouting organisations founded in 1909 - ICSP, Incorporated Church Scout Patrols, First Notts Battalion Boy Scouts and the LDBSC, London Diocesan Boy Scout Corps. It is an A4 book with 60 pages with many photographs and illustrations. This book has only just been published and was written to mark the centenary of the founding of these organisations. It is being sold by the author. Ask for details.
