Father of Rachael Williams (of Henfelin)
« on: Wednesday 01 October 08 18:49 BST (UK) »
Hi

The following may of interest to someone who is trying to trace the Ancestry of this particular Rachael Williams as the earliest record of her in the 1841 census only lists her a a Female Servant at Carnwallon farm, Glyn Hamlet, Lllanelly. I obtained a copy of this article in the Cambrian newspaper as her husband was potentially my gt-gt-gt-gt- grandfather. I believe his first wife may have been an Anne (possibly Treharne) who may have produced the Walter Rees that is my gt-gt-gt- grandfather.

MARRIED

"On the 7th inst. (March 1842), at Capel Ifan, in the Parish of Lllanelly, Carmartemshire, by the Rev. J. Richards, Mr. William Rees, of Carnwallon, age 77, to Miss Rachael Williams, eldest daughter of John Thomas Williams, of Henfelin, age 22, both of the parish of Llanelly".
