Walter Hugh Sebire b1880

Re Walter Hugh Sebire b1880 in Guernsey, Channel Islands. (Father - William T Sebire)

I have chased this relative all over. Born in Guernsey, took trip to  Philadelphia in 1904 (wonder if he then went on to Canada?). Served in Royal Engineers in England during First World War. Survived the war. No trace of him after that!! Has any one got time to check to see if he did finally end up in Canada.
Thanks in anticipation,
Kind regards, Robinetta

Hi Toni
Thanks for your reply. My Walter has no immediate family connection to Walter J Sebire. I do keep finding things about the latter too! I am stumped as I can't seem to find anything after my Walter came out of the army at the end of the War?  His name is not on the list of dead so I am hoping he survived.
Thanks for your help anyway,
Kind regards,
Robinetta

Hi Karen

I do not know if he married. His father and grandfather before were builders, so I presume he followed in their footsteps? He joined the Royal Engineers so I guess he must have had some skills in that field.

Kind regards,
Robinetta

Hello all
Just to fill you in on my search so far. I think I have exhausted the avenue of thinking he may have gone to Canada!? :-\
Having looked at Deaths in Canada and various links, have found several other Sebires but not Walter Hugh Sebire. :(
I know he is out there somewhere and I am on a mission!!!!Thanks for your help,
May be he did return to Guernsey?
Kind regards,
Robinetta
