Birth - TOBIN

Hi I am from Australia and am looking for any birth information on Catherine TOBIN born around 1834 in Cork, Ireland.

I have her parents names as John TOBIN and Margaret BRADY.

I know she was in Australia by 1855.

Any information on her parents found while researching her birth (eg. their marriage) would be most appreciated.

Civil registration of births, deaths and Catholic marriages began in Ireland in 1864. For earlier dates you need to look for church records (if they exist) but to do so you need to know the family's religion and where they lived (parish if not actual townland not just 'Cork' which could be either the city or the county).
